Pershing has arranged for additional insurance protection for cash and securities to supplement its SIPC coverage. This additional protection covers an aggregate loss limit of $1 billion for eligible securities over all client accounts. Also, there is a per-client loss limit of $1.9 million for cash awaiting reinvestment within the $1 billion limit. Neither coverage protects against a decline in the market value of securities.
